tk accelis Group AG & Co. KGaA (“tk accelis”) successfully made its capital markets debut today as trading in its shares commenced on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ISIN: DE000TKCC1S8; ticker symbol: TKCC). This marks the completion of the spin-off from thyssenkrupp AG, and tk accelis will operate as an independent, publicly listed company. thyssenkrupp AG remains the majority shareholder with a 51% stake. Each tk accelis share carries voting rights and an entitlement to dividends.
Ilse Henne, CEO of tk accelis, said: “Listing on the stock exchange is the logical continuation of our successful transformation. As a global Materials-as-a-Service provider, we make supply chains more resilient, transparent, and secure in a world of increasing geopolitical tensions. Now that we are an independent company, we have greater flexibility. We can invest the capital we generate more purposefully in high-margin growth areas and systematically expand our product and service portfolio. I am convinced that we are well positioned to unlock the full potential of tk accelis.”
tk accelis is able to deliver positive operational results and cash flows throughout economic cycles, and has a clear roadmap for sustained margin expansion and profitable growth. In fiscal year 2024/25, tk accelis achieved an adjusted EBITDA margin of 2.0%, with sales of €11.4 billion and adjusted EBITDA of €229 million. In the first nine months of fiscal year 2025/26, sales stood at €9.1 billion and adjusted EBITDA at €256 million, corresponding to an adjusted EBITDA margin of 2.8%.
Over the medium term, tk accelis targets an adjusted EBITDA margin of 4–5% and a sales CAGR of more than 4% at Group level. The key levers to achieve these targets are growth in higher-margin businesses with a greater services component, expansion in North America, and disciplined efficiency measures.
Miguel López, CEO of thyssenkrupp AG, said: “Following the successful listings of thyssenkrupp nucera and TKMS, today marks another milestone on the path toward our ACES 2030 future model. We are continuing to develop thyssenkrupp from an integrated industrial conglomerate into a lean financial holding — more decentralized, more agile, and with clear accountability. This strengthens entrepreneurial responsibility across our businesses and increases the attractiveness of thyssenkrupp for investors. With this step, tk accelis gains the entrepreneurial freedom to actively shape its future and create sustainable value.”
The global materials and supply chain market offers tk accelis significant growth potential. According to independent market analyses, the market is expected to grow from approximately €800 billion in 2024 to approximately €1,000 billion by 2030, representing annual growth of around 4%. Geopolitical shifts, increasingly complex supply chains, and growing market fragmentation are driving strong growth in demand for integrated materials and supply chain solutions. As a partner to customers in fast-growing sectors such as aerospace, data centers, industrial electrification and defense, tk accelis is well positioned to capture the resulting opportunities.
